(Ginkgo biloba)
Description
This is reported to be the only survivor of the oldest tree species. Ginkgo is invaluable in aiding the circulation, improving oxygen use and reducing free radical damage.
It is beneficial for the brain, memory, nervous system and blood vessels. The elderly particularly benefit from this herb. One of ginkgo’s most important features is its ability to expand the blood vessels, and thereby improve blood flow in capillaries and arteries, especially in the lower legs and feet.
Herbalists believe that ginkgo may help diabetics, it may also help people who suffer from asthma attacks.
